Abstracts are invited to the 2025 BASAS Annual Conference to be held at Lancaster University from 10 to 12 September 2025.

The conference will showcase pioneering scholarship on South Asia from the Subcontinent and across the world. This will be an interdisciplinary conference, bringing together expertise from across the arts, humanities and social sciences.

The deadline for abstract submissions has now passed. Successful applicants will be notified in due course. Registration will open following this and instructions for delegates will be available on the website.
