Call for Papers: Changing Dynamics of India’s Narrative Diplomacy

Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University (or SGT) University along with Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) and Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi are pleased to announce the upcoming international conference on “Changing Dynamics of India’s Narrative Diplomacy”. The conference will be organized in Haryana (India) on February 25-26, 2026.

This conference aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and critical reflection on the current state of narrative diplomacy. It will focus on the following themes:

  • Indian Narrative and Theories of Diplomatic Practice
  • The Narrative Diplomacy of various Countries
  • Democracy and Development stories
  • Bollywood and the power of Indian Cinema
  • Indology and Indian Knowledge System
  • Buddhism Diplomacy and Spirituality
  • New Stories telling and Social Media Diplomacy
  • Food Diplomacy
  • Diplomacy through Diaspora
  • The Future and Problems of Narrative Diplomacy

We invite scholars, researchers, practitioners, and activists to submit abstracts for paper presentations addressing one (or more) of the themes outlined above.
