MEMBERSHIP

Members of the Association are entitled to attend the annual conference, all BASAS-sponsored lectures and events. As part of their membership, all BASAS members are also entitled to receive a substantial discount on a journal subscription to South Asian Studies and/or to Contemporary South Asia. Another of the key benefits of BASAS membership is the ability to seek grant support under the BASAS grants scheme, mostly for language training grants. Moreover, BASAS members are able to join the BASAS blog and to receive mailings about key events sponsored by the Association. The BASAS blog is available at http://www.basas-southasia.blogspot.com. The blog is available for public viewing, but only BASAS members are allowed to post to the blog.
